Kaipatiki Project Inc. Available positions

Centre Administrator PART TIME – 20 Hours per week

Create Your Own Eden Course Coordinator 10 Hours per week

 

Kaipatiki Project Inc. is currently looking for a new member to join our team for the above positions.    

Primary focus includes:

1.       The running of the Environment Centre, fund management budgets, forecasts, wages, working in collaboration with our team.

2.       Coordination of Create your own Eden Courses including tutors, enquiries, bookings, evaluation and reporting. 

We’re looking for a person with excellent working administration skills with a high level of computer literacy including all office applications and good experience of working with MYOB.       
                                                                        

This position will include working with our team of staff and key volunteers, councils, community/school groups and other environmental organizations in the region.

 Our current Centre Administrator and Create Your Own Eden Coordinator is leaving to return home to the UK with her family.

Pollution Prevention Officer

North Shore City Council has some great pollution prevention programmes in place with a highly motivated team ready to take action. This is a great career move for a passionate individual to join the force in helping to implement our Pollution Prevention Strategy which includes initiatives with schools and businesses, and the wastewater overflow response programme.

You will need to have a tertiary qualification in environmental science with some proven relevant experience and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to complement your natural passion for the environment. An ability to negotiate and problem solve and to effectively apply environmental legislation is essential as well as flexibility to be part of an oncall roster.
